Ice skating at Winterfest.
On a typical Tuesday in Tulsa, you might have to do a little searching to find something to do.
Not during the holidays. At Christmastime, there's always something going on – even on a Tuesday.
Here are a few picks for fun things to do today.
WinterfestWinterfest is a sure bet for weeknight fun. On Tuesdays, bring a new or gently used book (for children or young adults), and skate for $4. That's half price. Along with ice skating, there are carriage rides, live entertainment, hot cocoa and apple cider. The ice rink is open from 4 to 10 p.m. and horse and carriage rides are 6 to 9 p.m.
It's free to enter, so if you're looking for a cheap date or family night out, just wander around and look at the big tree, downtown skyline and ice skaters.

Honor Heights Park Garden of LightsIf there's no way you're braving the cold, especially in the evening, then make it a "Christmas lights night." Put on some good Christmas music and drive through your favorite displays. If you've seen all the lights there are to see in Tulsa, head to Muskogee for the Honor Heights display where more than 1 million lights twinkle around the bushes, trees and waterfalls. It's open every night at 5:30 p.m.
