What's a movie without the popcorn?

More butter, please.

I wonder about the people who can go to the movie theater and breeze right by the concession stand. No tub of popcorn, no Milk Duds, no Coke.

My favorite thing to do is to eat a bite of candy, and then a bite of popcorn – a little salt and a little sweet.

Today I went to the movies to see the new Harry Potter (Loved it!) and they were out of my favorite movie theater candy – Junior Mints. The kid at the counter said the Harry Potter fans had ravaged all the candy over the weekend.

The little girl in line next to me, who was so cute carrying her magic wand, bought Reese’s Pieces. So I did the same.

A friend told me that if you like the taste of salty and sweet, you should dump your entire package of Junior Mints or Reese’s Pieces into your popcorn. I haven’t tried that yet, but I will soon.

For now, I’m just focusing on not eating my entire bag of popcorn before the previews are over.

Glad you got your apron off long enough to indulge in a movie and all those necessary treats. Might help you conjure up some extra special dishes this week to share with your readers!
