Given the recent steamy temperatures, it's a smart move on Cosmo Cafe's part to replace its cold-weather soups with something on the cool side.

Beginning this month, Cosmo's soup of the day will be butternut squash gazpacho, served chilled. According to the Cosmo newletter, this "refreshing and healthy soup is packed full of vegetables and other stuff that's good for you."

Cosmo's new gluten-free menu also is available upon request. It includes several regular selections that already were gluten-free, plus some new items.
