OK Mozart’s first full day of activities is highlighted by “Sublime Strings,” the concert featuring the orchestra in residence, Amici New York, 8 p.m. Saturday at the Bartlesville Community Center, 300 S.E. Adams Blvd.

If one is thinking of spending the day up Bartlesville way, here are a few other shows and activites one can enjoy:

In the morning, there is Music at the Farmers Market, free performances by local musicians, and a “come and go” urban garden tour at a local home. For this last event, you need to register in order to receive directions to the site. Register at the OK Mozart ticket office in the Bartlesville Community Center.

If music appeals, the choices include Celtic stylings by Three Bean Salad and Kilkenny Road, the jazz ensemble from the 145th Army Band, and “Experience Trumpets!,” a collaboration between Tulsa trumpeter Stephen Goforth, principal trumpet of the Signature Symphony at TCC, and organist Dolores McCreary. This concert is 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 210 E. Ninth St. Tickets are $8

Those wanting to know a bit of Bartlesville history attend “Bartlesville Notables,” presented at 10 a.m. at Theatre Bartlesville, 312 S.E. Dewey Ave. Cost is $6.
