What's your favorite salad dressing in town?

A house salad with pesto vinaigrette at Spaghetti Warehouse. STEPHEN PINGRY/Tulsa World

For someone who loves salads as much as I do, you'd think I'd be thinner.

Whatever, I've been a salad fan since college and have at least a few a week. Caesar is probably my favorite salad dressing (hence, perhaps, my not being thin), and I've written about it before in Thursday's Weekend magazine, specifically for our weekly 5 to Find feature.

This week, I took Caesar out of the equation and focused on other salad dressings around town -- the pesto vinaigrette at Spaghetti Warehouse being a new favorite, plus the ginger vinaigrette on the ITR salad at In the Raw, the lime-cilantro dressing at Bamboo Thai, curry dressing at Dragonmoon Tea Co. and, last but not least, the ubiquitous homemade ranch at The Brook.

But what's YOUR favorite salad dressing around town? Pretty please tell me where and why you like it so darn much.

Peace, love and Happy Friday Eve ... XOXO

My all time favorite salad dressing is the Green Onion house dressing (a mustard based vinaigrette). The Green Onion is just a memory now though. At one time you could buy bottles of the salad dressing elsewhere but I don't know if it is still available.

Flax seed oil. It's the only dressing that I put on my spinach salad. Stay healthy, my friends.
I love the house dressing at Ti Amo -- it's a really tasty dill ranch.

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
