Where's the party? This weekend, go green at any number of
St. Patrick's Day blowouts on the day when everyone's a little bit Irish.
1. Longtime working-class Irish-inspired rocker
Larkin is ready for its annual headlining gig at this weekend's St. Patrick's Day blowout at
Arnie's Bar.
It's easily the biggest party in town, and it kicks off 8 p.m.
Friday with the Paul Benjamin Band, Jesse Aycock and, at 10 p.m., Junior Brown.
Saturday starts early with music at 5:30 p.m. from the Coyote Mountain Fiddlers, Cairde na Gael at 7 p.m. and Larkin rounding out the night at 10 p.m.
Both nights are free. Must be 21 or older. Arnie's Bar, 318 E. Second St.
2. Stay downtown for a low-dough St. Pat's show at 10 p.m.
Saturday when the Paul Benjaman Band scoots over to Fassler Hall, 304 S. Elgin Ave. Eat, drink, dance and be merry for a $5 cover. Must be 21 or older.
3. Crystal Pistol Saloon brings in The Mumfords and Little Ruckus, kicking off 9 p.m.
Saturday for a free show, 417 N. Main St. Space is limited - get there early. Must be 21 or older.
4. Two dance events join forces to go green on
Saturday - it's Tulsa's Panic! vs. Electric Beatdown DJs S.E.E.J.A.Y. and BEATpUNKS join DJs Kylie, Falkirk and Samurai Jack and VJ Xylo Sesame with hostess Julz Everything starts at 9 p.m. at Electric Circus, 222 E. First St. No cover. Must be 21 or older. Smoke-free venue.
5. If you're looking for something different or to stay outside of downtown, hit Cherry Street for its annual shindig
Saturday.
Music starts 11 a.m. and includes performances from Annie Ellicott, Brandon Clark, Pat Cook and Ben Kilgore This year features music from stalwart local Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey at 10 p.m. Tickets are $25, food is provided by Smoke, and proceeds benefit the Mental Health Association in Tulsa. 6. Hear rocker Bound headline

7. The David Castro Band takes over The Colony 9:30 p.m.
