Thought I'd let y'all know I was just informed that Lifetime Networks announced the 16 designers of "Project Runway" season six on myLifetime.com (see tulsaworld.com/projectrunway6). Can'tcha just hear Heidi Klum cooing "auf wiedersehen"? Sigh, brings back memories of last season ...

Anway, back to the site, where fans can watch exclusive videos featuring tours of each designer's home and closets, fashion tips, casting sessions and their audition videos giving them an idea of who the designer is and what creative designs got them on "Project Runway" -- all before the season airs on TV.

For the first time ever, fans also have the opportunity to check out the designer's creations in the Designer's Portfolio section. The section highlights designs from each designer to date and will feature sketches from
each challenge in the upcoming season, which debuts 9 p.m. Aug. 20th on Lifetime.

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
