The last few football rain games I've attended, the crowd will suddenly turn blue, yellow, orange, all kinds of imaginable rain gear/poncho colors. OU wisely has created an OU poncho, I see. Here, fans head for shelter as inclement weather rolls into Norman before a game between OU and Texas Tech on Saturday. MATT BARNARD/ Tulsa World

We've had a lot of rain in Tulsa lately, and a lot this football season, but the good news is that there's none forecast for our Saturday afternoon games for the Sooners, Cowboys and Golden Hurricane.

2:30 p.m. Saturday: SMU @ TU, here in Tulsa!

In the first of this windy forecast trifecta, Satuday afternoon in Tulsa is expected to have sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s, but also southwest winds between 5 and 15 mph.

If you plan to either come early or stay late, beware the early/late day temperatures: Tulsa's Saturday is sandwiched between overnight lows in the 30s. It is definitely sweatshirt AND sunscreen weather!

2:30 p.m. Saturday: Baylor @ OSU, in Stillwater

Welcome home, Cowboys. Have some sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s!

Unfortunately, some wind gusts might throw your high-powered passing offense off a bit, with south winds up to 21 mph anticipated Saturday afternoon, but mostly expected between 10 and 15 mph.

I have read that Boone Pickens Stadium was reoriented east-west to avoid the strong prevailing winds like those anticipated Saturday, so perhaps the winds won't be that much of a factor!

2:30 p.m. Saturday: OU @ KSU, in Manhattan, Kan.

Rest easy, Sooners: The rain is not expected to show up to this high profile game in the Little Apple, unlike last week.

But, if you cringed at missed field goals last weekend, bad news similar to the other state teams this weekend: Wind gusts up to 30 mph are forecast, with south winds of 5 to 10 mph expected to increase to 15 to 20 mph during the day Saturday.

However, you will also have sunny skies and highs in the mid 60s, so it's not all bad!

If you planning to spend Friday night in Manhattan, expect more overnight 30s like here in Tulsa, with calmer winds.

After the game, partly cloudy skies Saturday night, with lows in the mid 40s.
