At 11 a.m. today, the Heart of Dallas Bowl will host Oklahoma State and Purdue.

According to the National Weather Service, the Pokes and Boilermakers can expect mostly cloudy skies, with highs in the 40s.

Dallas' temperature is currently 42, so not much change from the morning during the day.

However, expect wind to be a factor. North to northwest 10-15 mph winds are forecast, but wind gusts up to 25 mph are possible.

I'll be back later this week to forecast the OU bowl game.

Happy New Year!
