Happy 90th birthday to Tulsa's hottest day in June, 108 degrees on June 10, 1911. Makes those highs in the 90s feel a little cooler, huh?
Here's a look at how the weather has been treating the rest of the world:
Several counties in Kansas continue to be under flood warnings this week. In this June 2 photo, the Manhattan, Kan., Fire Department assists a resident who went back to his apartment for his dog (which was rescued). According to the Associated Press, the Kansas River dropped below flood stage in northeast Kansas by Saturday, after reaching the 18-foot flood stage June 3. Much like Tulsa hasn't had much rain lately, China is also having precipitation issues. In this June 2 photo, a farmer carries buckets of water to her cotton field near Poyang Lake, a vast wetland turned dry by China's worst drought in decades, in Yongxiu in the Jiangxi Province. According to the Associated Press, many villagers and some scientists think the Three Gorges Dam withholds water from a downstream river and could be altering weather patterns. Three tornadoes including one with a preliminary rating of EF-3 hit western Massachusetts on June 1, injuring hundreds. In this June 3 photo, workers repair the roof of a church damaged by the storm. The state's governor filed a supplemental spending plan Monday that includes $10 million to help storm victims, according to the Associated Press. (Photo credit: STEVEN SENNE/AP Photo)

Multiple flood warnings and flood watches were still in effect Thursday for Montana after storms hit Monday, as shown in this photo of funnel clouds forming north of Billings, Mont. (Photo credit: PAUL RUHTER/AP Photo/Billings Gazette)

No typo here -- 103 degrees in Minneapolis on Tuesday. No wonder this Mallard in a Minneapolis park wanted to camp near the fountain! However, the triple-digit temperatures appear to be temporary, as the high on Wednesday was "only" 83. (Photo credit: JIM MONE/AP Photo)

Dark clouds might loom over Madrid, Spain's skies last Saturday in this photo, but according to Weather Underground forecasts, next week looks to be mid 80s to lower 90s with clear skies by Tuesday. (Photo credit: DANIEL OCHOA DE OLZA/AP Photo)

In this Saturday photo, children play in a waterlogged street in Mumbai India after pre-monsoon showers. According to the National Weather Service, the word "monsoon" is derived from the Arabic word "mausim" which means season. Ancient traders sailing in the Indian Ocean and adjoining Arabian Sea used it to describe a system of alternating winds which blow persistently from the northeast during the northern winter and from the opposite direction, the southwest, during the northern summer. Thus, the term monsoon actually refers solely to a seasonal wind shift, and not to precipitation. (Photo credit: RAJANISH KAKADE/AP Photo)
