Is water rationing in Tulsa's near future? Fortunately, no.
Bob Bledsoe, a Tulsa city spokesman, said Tulsa's been averaging 165.75 million gallons per day since the beginning of the month.
The all-time high for water usage in Tulsa was 192 million gallons on Aug. 10, 2006, Bledsoe said.
Neither this month's average water usage nor the all-time high water usage is close to what would kick in city policies in place for voluntary nor mandatory water conservation.
Those levels are 206 million gallons per day for two straight days (voluntary) and 213 million gallons (mandatory), Bledsoe said.
More from Bledsoe and other officials on Tulsa's continuous hot temperatures will be in Tuesday's edition of the Tulsa World. However, if you want a forecast, you can check that
right here, right now.
Spoiler: Highs in the 100s for the entire week.
