Little Black Dress on Cherry Street is having an awesome sale this week and next.

Here's a sale that is TOTALLY appropriate for the winter weather warning we're under from 6 p.m. Wednesday through 6 p.m. Thursday.

Little Black Dress, 1325 E. 15th St., is hosting its biannual "End of Season Auction Sale" this week, with 60 percent off winter merchandise.

Each week during the sale, owner Kelly Mize increases the markdown percentage, and you have a chance to bid on your favorite must-haves from the fall/winter season.

This is your last chance to bid on items for the 75 percent off week next week, which is the final week of the sale -- make a note now! Of course, while you're there, check out what Kelly has coming in for spring.

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
