These are the guys in SyFy's "Being Human," which debuts tonight at 8 p.m., Cox cable channel 45.

As dreams are included in my blog description (I forget why), I wanted to convey my most recent one before it leaves me.

Not sure what it was, but I accepted a job in London, which necessitated my moving into an ancient, wooden apartment building. As I ascended rickety, narrow steps to my fourth-floor arrangement, occasionally looking down to my potential death below, I realized, "Umm, I don't like London" -- so I flew back to Tulsa (actually, it was more like I suddenly went from the stairs to my editor's office) to ask if I could come back. She was busy doing something, so I walked into the next room, where Ex was milling about. We chatted in a friendly way, with me thinking, "Hmm, this isn't so bad," and then I woke up. The end, no point, sorry.

So did anyone watch the Golden Globes last night? I talk about my faves and least liked looks from the red carpet, so please feel free to share yours below.

Speaking of TV, having spent five hours jotting down notes, I had to wind down from all that hard work (done in a leather recliner with a quilt over my lap, for cryin' out loud). So I flipped over to MTV's "I Used to Be Fat", hoping I could cop both (1) another quick teary-eyed moment to better ensure a good night's sleep or, better still, (2) scare myself into realizing I'm one or two BMI points from being on the mid-30s version of this show.

While watching, I saw more promos for MTV's upcoming "Skins," a remake of a popular British series, a marathon of which I watched one weekend at Banshee's house while dog-sitting. I'm tempted to tune in, but not NEARLY as much as I am to "Being Human," SyFy's remake of of the hit BBC series of the same name. Seen it? It's about a vampire, werewolf and ghost sharing an apartment. Hopefully, the SyFy revamp (pardon the pun) will have at least half the bite (sorry, pun intended) of the original. Fingers crossed (ha! sorry ...)

It might take being a vampire to keep from eating like I've been doing the past four weeks. I'm still not quite up to revealing my tonnage, but I am MORE than ready to start taking the pounds off. My food diary (and I've been PAINFULLY truthful with the entries) is due Wednesday, so I'm hoping Mistress Ashley notices progress in one short week.

In the mean time, have a fabulous week -- and kindly check out my column tomorrow in the Tulsa World.

Peace, love and things that suck ... XOXO

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
