AC/DC, one of the most famous rock bands of all time, has co-opted the distinctively American genre of rock.

Big time.

Formed in 1973 by Australian brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, the album "Back in Black" is a seminal one for rock fans. It's also one of the highest-selling in American history, with more than 200 million albums sold worldwide.

AC/DC's 2008 release, "Black Ice," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard music charts. It also provided AC/DC's best sales since SoundScan began tracking the data in 1991.

And the band will rock Tulsa's BOK Center on Monday.
