I was on MySpace yesterday discussing moisturizers and sunscreen with a friend (I know, it's so freakin' exciting in my world). And he told me he uses an inexpensive moisturizer with SPF 15 or something like that. To keep it from clogging his sensitive pores, he dilutes it with a little aloe vera gel.
My first thought was uh-oh. But does it really matter? So I hollered at Gabe Horn, an in-the-know skin expert.

"It would dilute it a bit, but not much. Depending on the SPF number (15, 20, etc), he would probably want to reapply a little more frequently. It would be the alcohol in the aloe that would cause an issue, not just straight aloe."
Had to share. Peace, love and shrunken pores ... xoxo
