Tulsa Reads’ “An Evening with Alexander McCall Smith,” set for April 17 on the campus of Oklahoma State University-Tulsa, has officially sold out.

However, said Teresa Miller, executive director of the Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers, a waiting list for tickets, should they become available., has been set up.

“I’m sure we’ll have some last-minute cancellations – we always do,” Miller said. “So we’re encouraging people to sign up for the waiting list.”

To be put on the list, send email to teresa.miller@okstate.edu, or call 918-594-8215.

McCall Smith’s Tulsa appearance will be the final event in the first Tulsa Reads of 2012. The program is a joint effort among the Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers at OSU-Tulsa, Tulsa Town Hall, Tulsa City-County Library and the Tulsa World.
