**EDIT** I originally posted this without knowing why Ahmed Denson was on the team for one year. Further digging from our newsroom researcher revealed Denson never qualified academically and didn't see the field, although he was enrolled at OSU in 2000-01.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Some blast-from-the-past names were mentioned in Thursday's Sports Illustrated story on the alleged use of drugs among Oklahoma State football players.

Thirty former Cowboys who played in 2000-11 told SI they used marijuana while on the football team. In doing some research, mostly in the Tulsa World archives, I found only three of those 30 completed their eligibility while at OSU, and at least half were booted from the team.

That doesn't mean their claims shouldn't be taken seriously, but in case you were wondering whatever happened to the players, here you go:

DB Andrew Alexander (2003-04): Dismissed
OL Gerron Anthony (2010-11): Injuries ended career
DE William Bell (2004): Dismissed
OL Jonathan Cruz (2002): Left team
LB LeRon Furr (2009-10): Injuries ended career
LB-DE Rodrick Johnson (2004-07): Completed eligibility
QB Andre McGill (2000-01): Left team
CB Calvin Mickens (2005-07): Dismissed
WR Eric Allen (2003-04): Left team
RB Tatum Bell (2000-03): Completed eligibility
OL Doug Bond (2002-04): Dismissed
WR Jeremy Broadway (2005-08): Dismissed
WR William Cole (2007-08): Dismissed
DB Ricky Coxeff (2003-04): Dismissed
WR Damian Davis (2007-08): Dismissed
LB Victor DeGrate (2003-06): Completed eligibility
LB Ahmed Denson (2000): Didn't play because he didn't qualify academically
DT Brad Girtman (2003-04): Dismissed
S Victor Johnson (2008-10): Dismissed
WR Chijuan Mack (2003-06): Left team
WR Isaac McCoy (2011): Left team
DL Richard Murphy (2000-01): Dismissed
RB Dexter Pratt (2009): Left team
LB Marcus Richardson (2007): Dismissed
RB Seymore Shaw (2002-04): Suspended and transferred
DT Walter Thomas (2004-05): Dismissed
OL Javius Townsend (2010): Left team
LB Kevin White (2005-06): Dismissed
WR Artrell Woods (2006-08): Left team
S Thomas Wright (2002-04): Dismissed
