Alfred Hitchcock's first surviving feature.OK, I understand that it may not be as big of news as say, Lauren Ambrose of "Six Feet Under" earning the coveted role of Fanny Brice in the revival of "Funny Girl."
But it's pretty cool news to me.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, these archivists say they discovered three reels from a 1924 picture called, "The White Shadow." Hitchcock was 24 at the time, and his first official film came out a year later, called "The Pleasure Garden."
My favorite movie of all time -- yes, I'm making that claim -- is a Hitchcock film, so this is especially interesting to me. What are you favorite Hitchcock films?
