Abduction survivor Elizabeth Smart will speak about her experience at the University of Tulsa’s Reynolds Center, 11th Street and Harvard Avenue, at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10.
Smart will kick off the Women of Character speaker series held by the Girls Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma Council.
Smart was abducted from her Utah home 10 years ago at the age of 14 and was held captive before she was rescued nine month later. She is now an activist for missing and abused children.
