According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, the Oklahoma City Thunder could be spending Christmas Day in New York taking on the Knicks in Madison Square Garden.

The NBA schedule isn’t officially released for another week, but Isola also reports that Brooklyn will play Chicago at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Miami will face the Los Angeles Lakers.

This would be the fourth straight year Oklahoma City has played on Christmas Day. OKC is 2-1 in previous Christmas Day games, including wins over Denver in 2010 and Orlando in 2011. The loss game last year in Oklahoma City at the hands of the eventual NBA Champion Miami Heat.
