The NFL's MVP is back on top of the fantasy world.

No one thought Adrian Peterson was going to be 100 percent, much less get 9 yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing record.

Fantasy football experts have told Fantasy Football Index that they are ready to give Peterson back his crown. Check out the rankings.

All but two experts ranked "All Day" as the No. 1 fantasy player. Ian Allen, the senior writer of Fantasy Football Index, put Tampa Bay’s Doug Martin on the top of his list. Cory Bonini of KFFL.com put Houston’s Arian Foster, last season’s consensus No. 1, on top.

Speaking of Peterson, he had a great answer for Dan Patrick when he was asked about being snubbed for the Heisman Trophy, after he ran for 1,925 yards as a freshman at OU.

Patrick: "Who won the Heisman that year?"

Peterson: "Matt Leinart."

Patrick: "Ever tell Leinart he has your Heisman?"

Peterson: "No, I didn’t think I had to."

In the fight for second or third in preseason rankings, most had Foster and either Martin. CJ Spiller and Alfred Morris also made it that high.

If I had to make a top 10 right now, this is how it would look:

1. Adrian Peterson
2. Arian Foster
3. Doug Martin
4. Alfred Morris
5. Marshawn Lynch
6. Calvin Johnson
7. Jamaal Charles
8. Trent Richardson
9. Ray Rice
10. C.J. Spiller

The Fantasy World will take a break until the NFL Draft in April, when we will talk about who might be worth a fantasy draft pick.
