With a Nov. 25 trial date set in the anti-trust lawsuit against the merger of American Airlines and U.S. Airways, the airlines and the Justice Department have now started to sort out the long series of events that will lead up to that trial date.
If you remember how much the two sides fought over a trial date, you can probably guess that every one of these deadlines will create some kind of legal wrangling by well-paid lawyers on both sides of the issue.

So there you have it. Nearly three months of dates to argue out the finer points of witnesses, evidence and more. And don’t forget that the first day of trial is scheduled to start the week of Thanksgiving. I’m sure that won’t cause any problems at all
