I mean sewing machines do have to do with clothing and clothing with style and style with popular culture, right? Might be a stretch, but found this interesting.

The tech site reports the Pentagon’s venture capital arm has divvied out more than $1 million to technology developer Softwear Automation to build these hi-tech gadgets.

“Complete production facilities that produce garments with zero direct labor is the ultimate goal.” Says this document out of fedbizzopps.gov.

‘Zero direct labor.’ Wouldn’t creating safer work environments for people be better?
