Some people call this cake Orange Delight Cake. It would be perfect for a summer picnic or potluck.
ORANGE CAKE
1 lemon cake mix (can use yellow instead)
1 (3-ounce) package orange gelatin
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
GLAZE:
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup orange juice
2/3 cup sugar
1. Mix together cake mix and gelatin. Add water, oil, eggs and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 5 minutes. Pour into a well-greased and floured Bundt pan.
2. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
3. For Glaze: Boil ingredients together. Take a fork and make holes in top of hot cake. Pour glaze over cake. Let cake cool for 1 hour in pan, and then invert onto serving plate.
