Another draft down and I can't believe I drafted Chris Johnson

FANTASY WORLD

Giovani Bernard might be the next great running back. So could Kendall Hunter.

So last year I though Doug Martin was worth moving up in fantasy drafts and grabbing. This year, I did the same thing with ...

The Fantasy World draft is over and I am was reminded why I don't like picking eighth in a 12-team draft.

I had to pull the trigger on Calvin Johnson since all the great running backs were taken. In the second, with no one left, I went with Chris Johnson.

The Chris Johnson who has only made people crazy since running for 2,000 12 years ago.

It was either him or Stevan Ridley or Maurice Jones-Drew. I should have gone with Ridley, but for some reason I believe that Johnson will come out of his fog. Can't believe I did that.

This is the league I am commissioner of, so no kickers or defenses.

This is the starting lineup:

QB
RB
RB
RB or WR
WR
WR
WR or TE
TE
RB or WR or TE

Here is my team with the eighth pick:

QBs
Tony Romo: I think I was the last one to draft my QB starter.
EJ Manuel: Don't really need him until Romo's bye week in week 11.
Brandon Weeden: Just to make sure no one else got him.

RBs
Chris Johnson: I'm going to lose sleep over this pick.
David Wilson: Like him and like his schedule.
Ryan Mathews: Maybe this year he reaches his potential with a new coach who made Tim Tebow win a playoff game.
Giovani Bernard: Love him and love this offense.
Ben Tate: Because I don't believe Arian Foster is going to stay on the field.
Robert Turbin: Because I don't believe Marshawn Lynch is going to stay on the field.

WRs
Calvin Johnson: Almost went Dez Bryant, because he might catch more touchdowns.
Larry Fitzgerald: Dez went a few picks before this pick, but the best of the rest.
Torry Smith: He could breakout or disappear like he did last season.
Chris Givens: I've picked him twice, along with Bernard, Tate and Turbin. I like him and love him late in a draft.
Justin Blackmon: He looked good once he got on the field.
Reuban Randle: Deep sleeper who has two injured guys ahead of him.

TEs
Jermichael Finley: Someone has to catch passes in this offense.
Jordan Cameron: Only if I need to. Might be a 8-TD guy.
