Currently in its 34th season, "A Prairie Home Companion" has made Minnesota's way of life and the fictional small town of Lake Wobegon part of American popular culture. Each week, it's heard by more than 4.3 million listeners on more than 500 public radio stations nationwide.
What you may not know is that the show has turned up some amazing musical talent in its past contests.
This year, Garrison Keillor's popular public radio show is looking for talented performers in their 20s to showcase their skills on APHC's March 15 live broadcast -- and the March 14 Friday night show.
So if you're past 19 and not yet 30, tune up, clear your throat and give it your best shot. All submission guidelines are online. Submission deadline is Feb. 4.
