Are you ready to rock with the "Fraggles"?
Ben Folds Five, a gum-chewing Anna Kendrick, Nerdist Industries founder Chris Hardwicke and a bunch of head-banging Fraggles "Do It Anyway" in a video that could charm even Oscar the Grouch.
It's the result of a collaboration between the reunited piano rock band and the Jim Henson Company's rock dwellers from "Fraggle Rock" in the band's first track since they broke up in 1999. The video also helps celebrate the Fraggles' 30th anniversary.
"It's really cool that we haven't played in 12, 13 years together… and the Fraggles haven't done it in how many years - that's a long time - so it's like a double reunion,” said Folds, who handles the piano and vocals on the video.
Drummer Darren Jessee and bassist Robert Sledge also help "relive the magic."
"If you walk in and you see Ben Folds and you see Fraggles dancing around, and your day isn't expontentially happier, you are dead inside," said Hardwicke.
"It was so much fun. A lot of running around and dancing and playing music and head banging!" said Red Fraggle in the "making of" video.
