Despite some uncharacteristic wildness, Owasso's Dylan Bundy returned to the win column on Friday night as he helped pitch high Single-A Frederick to a 5-3 victory over Lynchburg in the first game of a doubleheader.

Bundy walked three in five innings -- matching his walk total in his previous 40 innings this year. He allowed four hits and two runs as he struck out five. He suffered his first pro loss in his previous start despite allowing only one run.

In his first 11 pro starts, Bundy is 3-1 with a 1.00 ERA. He has allowed 18 hits and struck out 68. Opponents are batting .122 against him.

Bundy, who started the season at low Single-A Delmarva, was the fourth overall draft choice by Baltimore last June.

The Tulsa Drillers drew their highest crowd since ONEOK Field opened in 2010 as Friday's game attendance was 8,707 for a 5-1 loss to Springfield.

Tulsa only managed four baserunners against Springfield's Trevor Rosenthal and Michael Blazek. Rosenthal has overtaken Shelby Miller as St. Louis' top pitching prospect and he showed his tremendous potential on Friday as he overpowered the Drillers. He allowed only three hits, walked one and struck out seven with a fastball in the mid-90s (mph) combined with an effective slider.

Rosenthal, a 22-year-old right-hander, was drafted in the 21st round from Cowley County (Kan.) Community College in 2009...

St. Louis called up another prospect, Joe Kelly, to replace injured Jaime Garcia in the starting rotation. Kelly will make his major league debut Sunday against Cleveland. Kelly, a righty who turns 24 Saturday, was only 6-4 with a 5.01 ERA for Springfield last year, but leads the Pacific Coast League with a 2.86 ERA although he's only 2-5 for Memphis...

Kansas City is finally giving the Texas League's 2010 Triple Crown winner, first baseman Clint Robinson, his first major league shot at age 27. Robinson was batting .314 with eight homers and 37 RBIs at Triple-A Omaha.

But when will Kansas City call up outfielder Wil Myers? Myers is as hot at Omaha as he was at Double-A Northwest Arkansas when he hit six homers in six games against Tulsa this year. Myers' combined numbers this season are a .335 batting average with 21 homers and 52 RBIs. He proved he could hit big league pitching Thursday when he homered off Roy Oswalt.
