Owasso graduate Dylan Bundy pitched five innings for the first time in his pro career on Monday night.
Bundy maintained his 0.00 ERA for low Single-A Delmarva as he allowed two hits, an unearned run, struck out three and did not issue a walk. He received a no-decision as Delmarva lost 5-1 to Lakewood.
Lakewood's only run off Bundy came on a passed ball.
In seven starts, Bundy has pitched 25 innings, allowed four hits, two unearned runs, walked two and struck out 36. Bundy was the fourth overall pick by Baltimore in last year's amateur draft...
Broken Arrow graduate Archie Bradley was back in top form for low Single-A South Bend on Monday night after battling some wildness in his last few starts. Bradley combined with two relievers on a one-hitter in a 2-0 win at Bowling Green.
Bradley allowed one hit, walked one and struck out six as he improved his record to 5-1 with a 2.25 ERA.
Rogers State product Matt Sample struck out two of three batters in a perfect final inning to pick up his second save. Sample is 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA in 12 games...
Owasso's Austin Kirk also was superb on Monday as he allowed six hits and one run over seven innings for high Single-A Daytona (Cubs) in a 2-1 win over Brevard County. Kirk improved to 2-0 with a 1.75 ERA.
