Owasso's Dylan Bundy continued to help his cause to be called up by the Baltimore Orioles when major league rosters expand Saturday.

Bundy allowed two runs and four hits in 5 2/3 innings to pick up the win as Double-A Bowie defeated Erie 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Bundy, who walked four and struck out six, had a shutout going until the sixth.

In three starts for Bowie, he is 2-0 with a 3.24 ERA. In 23 starts overall for three teams this season, Bundy is 9-3 with a 2.08 ERA. In 103 2/3 innings, he has allowed 67 hits, walked 28 and struck out 119. Opponents are batting .186 against him...

Tulsa Drillers catchers Lars Davis and Jose Gonzalez were selected to play in the Arizona Fall League that is designed for top prospects. Also picked were former Broken Arrow first baseman Andy Wilkins and former Owasso pitcher Brian Flynn.

Davis and Gonzalez will be joined on the Salt River Rattlers by outfielder Kent Matthes, who leads the Drillers with 17 homers. Matthes has been sidelined for a month by an oblique injury and is unlikely to return for the Texas League playoffs.

Former Drillers pitchers Cory Riordan, Coty Woods and Isaiah Froneberger also will play for Salt River. The Colorado Rockies' other assignee is Single-A outfielder Kyle Parker, who will likely play for Tulsa next year.

Wilkins (White Sox) and Flynn (Marlins) also are in Double-A. Wilkins also will play for Salt River.

Flynn, who would've been with Erie to see his former Owasso teammate Bundy on Tuesday if he had not been traded last month, is 2-0 with a 3.92 ERA at Jacksonville (Marlins). He will play for the Phoenix Desert Dogs along with batterymate J.T. Realmuto, a former Midwest City Carl Albert all-state quarterback.

Another former Owasso pitcher, Matt Hoffman, who is with Triple-A Toledo, will play in the AFL for the Mesa Solar Sox.
