St. Louis Cardinals television announcer Dan McLaughlin is scheduled to speak at the Memorial Drive Church of Christ, 747 S. Memorial, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday (March 4).
McLaughlin's appearance is the result of connections that senior minister Terry Rush has made with the Cardinals from attending their Legends camps during the past 29 years.
McLaughlin will be in the Cardinals' TV booth for his 15th season in 2012. His topic on Sunday will be "Just Getting Started," as he tries to rebuild his life and career after being arrested last September on his second drunk driving charge in 13 months. He was suspended by Fox Sports Midwest at that time, but was reinstated after attending rehab.
