Two veteran outfielders from the 2012 Tulsa Drillers have recently signed as minor league free agents with other organizations.
Tim Torres, an Oral Roberts product, signed with the Chicago Cubs. Torres batted .226 with three homers and 23 RBIs in 101 games last season for the Double-A Drillers. He has two years of Triple-A experience.
Chris Pettit, who had two brief major league stints with the Angels, signed with the Baltimore Orioles. Pettit batted .293 with three homers and eight RBIs in 19 games after joining Tulsa last August.
