Tulsa artist Michelle Firment Reid follows up her recent collaboration with English photographer Nige’ Ollis with a one-woman show of new works, “Thought Fields,” opening with a reception for the artist from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the M.A. Doran Gallery, 3509 S. Peoria Ave. The exhibit will be on display through September. 918-748-8700.
Photographer David Halpern has a show of his past work on display at the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art, 2021 E. 71st St. The show, titled “A Few of My Favorites and the Stories Behind Them,” is on display through Oct. 29. Halpern will be at the gallery beginning 6:30 p.m. for a reception, and proceeds from sales of the images in the show will benefit the museum. 918-492-1818
