Fans of the "Die Hard" series of movies can squeal "yippee-ki-yay" at AMC Southroads 20 on Wednesday, when a marathon of the movies in the franchise concludes with the new "A Good Day to Die Hard" as the finale.

A dozen hours of Bruce Willis as New York cop John McClane will blast off at noon Wednesday with 1988's "Die Hard," the classic action movie co-starring Alan Rickman as one of the best villains in this genre of films.

Following up is 1990's "Die Hard 2," 1995's "Die Hard With a Vengeance" and 2007's "Live Free or Die Hard."

These lead up to a 10 p.m. showing of "A Good Day to Die Hard," which finds McClane in Russia helping his CIA operative son to stop a nuclear-weapons threat.

Tickets are available at the AMC Southroads 20 box-office, 4923 E. 41st St., and online for this event, priced at $35 for five explosive films.

"Die Hard" movie posters and souvenir lanyards will be given to those attending while supplies last.

Members of the AMC Stubs program will receive $5 in credit added to their member cards for each event ticket purchased — up to four cards — if the passes are purchased in advance. The credit can be spent for concessions on that day only.

The movies in the "Die Hard" series are rated R with the exception of "Live Free or Die Hard," which is rated PG-13.
