Best of 2009" nominees.
Included are several Oklahoma venues and music industry professionals, including the
BOK Center for arena of the year and BOK Center general manager
John Bolton as a nominee for the facility executive of the year award.
Oklahoma promoter

The nominees are voted on by Pollstar Pro members only, consisting of professionals in the very areas in which the nominees are pulled.
Voting officially opens Monday, shows an email to nominees and forwarded to the Tulsa World from the BOK Center.
The Pollstar Awards are Feb. 17, 2010 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
In 2008, the BOK Center was nominated in four categories: New Concert Venue of the Year and Facility Executive of the Year (John Bolton).
This year, the center was rated the No. 2 Arena in the U.S. for ticket sales in Pollstar's "First Quarter 2009" report. It was No. 9 in its mid-year report, and had climbed up to No. 5 nationally and No. 14 worldwide in Pollstar's "Third Quarter 2009" report of highest ticket-sellers.
