Advance tickets for the Backyard Bowl are available at each school.

Tickets are $10 (reserved), $7 (adult general admission) and $4 (student GA). Tickets will be sold at Jenks’ Sharp Center (third floor) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday.

At the Union UMAC booth, tickets will be sold from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. Advance GA tickets also are available at MidFirst Bank locations from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Tickets will be sold at Chapman Stadium on Friday night.
Union will be the home team and its fans will seat on the West (press box) side. Jenks is the visiting team and will be on the East side...

In this week's AP voting, Broken Arrow moved ahead of Union to the No. 2 slot in 6A behind Jenks. Union is No. 3. Jenks received nine of 10 first-place votes (including mine) and Union received the other.

The Tulsa World rankings had Jenks at No. 1, Union at No. 2 and Broken Arrow at No. 3.

In 5A, East Central is out of the AP and World top-10 rankings for the first time in more than a decade after a 52-27 loss to Del City.
