Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful's Beauty Patrol program is looking for volunteers to spend 30 minutes per month monitoring a 4-mile stretch of road.

Patrollers are asked to drive along their assigned road and note any tall grass, broken fences, out-of-place trash, etc.

Segments of road that currently need volunteers are 41st from County Line to Evans, 51st from Aspen to Evans, 111th from Garnett to Lynn, 131st from 129th to Lynn, 145th from 41st to 91st, Elm from 51st to 91st, 209th from 31st to 51st and Midway from 61st to 81st.

Each volunteer's report is filed electronically with the project chair who then files it with the city. City crews follow up and clean up areas noted in the reports.

"This committee has made a significant difference in our town and we would love to get all the mile segments covered," said Board Chair Peggy Striegel.
