Beck will cover a soon-to-be-named album with musicians

Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent, confirmed yesterday via her
Twitter account.
"Did a
Record Club record with Beck and Liars and Os Mutantes in LA last week! It will be online soonish. Serious fun."
The project is part of Beck's "Record Club" feature on his official Web site, which has also covered
Velvet Underground's "
The Velvet Underground and Nico" with musicians
Nigel Godrich and
Giovanni Ribisi;
Leonard Cohen's album "
Songs of Leonard Cohen" with
MGMT and
Devendra Banhart, and, most recently,
Skip Spence's album "
Oar" with music acts
Wilco,
Feist and
Jamie Lidell, reports
Pitchfork.
The project puts Beck in a studio with his friends, and they record an entire cover album in one day.
