WEATHER WORLD
It's not a Tulsa urban legend, myth or a running joke: It really does rain every year (since 2008) at downtown's Mayfest.
And ...
There is a lot to digest on the drought front, so I'll try to cover as much ground as I can.
Before showing this week's ...
Bad news this week, Oklahoma: Your drought situation was either unchanged or got worse.
If this comes as a surprise, ...

There was a 100 percent chance of rain forecast for the Bedlam football game in Stillwater last year. However, I think this "fog" had nothing to do with the weather: OSU takes the field before its win against OU at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater in 2011. MICHAEL WYKE/ Tulsa World File
Happy Thanksgiving, football fans!
As usual, the weekend games in chronological order:
Tulsa at SMU, 11 a.m. Saturday in University Park, Texas (Dallas)
Saturday morning may be a bit chilly, coming off overnight lows in the mid-30s with 5 to 10 mph north winds.
However, by the afternoon, University Park has highs in the 60s forecsat with calm 5 mph northeast winds.
Should the game (or you) stay into the evening, expect temperatures to start to head toward their overnight lows in the mid-40s, but with calmer, 5-10 mph winds once again.
OSU and OU, 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Norman
After two straight years in Stillwater, welcome back to Norman, Bedlam football.
Like University Park (Dallas), Norman is also expected to have a sunny afternoon in the 60s, but winds are expected to be stronger, with south bound gusts up to 20 mph possible.
Later in the game, expect temperatures to fall closer to Norman's overnight lows in the low 40s, with calmer 10-13 mph south winds.
Have a good football weekend!
