Call me superficial, but I've always rushed to the news stands to buy the annual
People magazine
Most Beautiful issue.
I remember when a young Julia Roberts graced the cover for the first time, and when other favorite '90s stars were deemed "most beautiful."
This was way before Internet spoilers, so it was fun to look through every page, reading the little profiles of all the 50 celebs.
It was my dream to one day interview some of these famous people, and
share some of their "normal" secrets that we all clamor to read. Yes, I wanted to be a "celebrity profiler," don't tell.
So when
People announced today that their cover model was
Beyonce, I had rush of nostalgia.
Beyonce dishes a little on motherhood in the issue, according to the teasers.
She says of her little daughter, Blue Ivy, "She's just the cutest thing."
And when asked who the baby most resembles, Beyonce answers: "She looks like Blue."
I know several women who've recently given birth, and they probably will NOT appreciate this tid bit: The magazine reports that B is back to her per-pregnancy weight, just three months after giving birth!
Good for her, but I can hear the groans now -- it's tough losing that baby weight when you're a regular civilian, especially when people like Beyonce are immediately back to normal. Hmmm.
But Beyonce and these other stars are "Most Beautiful" for a reason -- they have an army of helpers.
What do you think of Beyonce being dubbed
People's Most Beautiful person in the world?
