Single mother Bristol Palin and her young son Tripp star in the Lifetime series "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp." LIFETIME

Lifetime has pulled "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" off its primetime lineup due to poor ratings.

The reality show, which follows Palin as a single mother living in Los Angeles, opened to 726,000 viewers last week and saw viewership fall dramatically to 586,000 with its second episode, according to deadline.com.

It has been moved from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesdays and replaced in the time slot by repeats of the popular "Dance Moms" reality show.

Palin and her "Life’s a Tripp" producers are also facing a lawsuit from co-stars of her unrealized reality series for the BIO channel, according to the website. Brothers Christopher and Kyle Massey (a castmate of Palin’s on "Dancing With the Stars”) are suing because they allege the series was their idea.

"Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp" follows her relationship with her boyfriend and family, including her mother, former vice-presidential candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

She previously appeared in her family's TLC reality series "Sarah Palin's Alaska."
