Checotah native Carrie Underwood will perform on the Today Show Summer Concert Series this August as the morning show plans a full week of outdoor concerts following the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Underwood will perform Aug. 15 on NBC's "Today" show.

Soon after her appearance on Today, Underwood will continue preparing for her third headline arena tour across North America. The "Blown Away" rolls through Tulsa Nov. 21 at the BOK Center.

The show is all ages. Tickets are $46, $56 and $66, plus fees, available via tulsaworld.com/bok, Arby's Box Office at the BOK Center, all Tickets.com outlets or by calling 1-866-7-BOKCTR.
