"Every good Southern woman should learn to change a tire, drive a tractor and cook something fried. Those three things will empower you!"

So says country music singer Miranda Lambert in the February issue of Southern Living magazine.

Lambert also gives a shout out to Oklahoma when asked her favorite romantic getaway city in the South.

"...the romantic city of Tishomingo," she said.

Her ideal Valentine's Day would be spent on her farm, near Tishomingo, with her boyfriend, country music singer Blake Shelton, taking his boat out on the lake where they would go fishing and share a picnic basket.

Lambert also talks about cooking. She learned to cook from her mother, but still hasn't mastered her mother's enchiladas. Her favorite dish from her mom's kitchen? Meatloaf.
