I just learned that the new Oklahoma Joe's Barbecue in Broken Arrow, which normally is open Sundays, will be closed this Sunday, New Year's Day.
I suspect others might be as well to give their employees a holiday day off, so if you have a specific dining destination in mind that day, it probably would be a good idea to call ahead to make sure it is open.
