Choc's Oklahoma Pale Ale wins international award
Out of nearly 1500 beers, 747 international, Oklahoma's Choc Beer Company wins a Bronze medal with its Oklahoma Pale Ale at the Australian International Beer Awards. This is the first award for Choc's Oklahoma Pale Ale.
The AIBA competition started in 1987 and began using the name the Australian International Beer Awards in 1993. The competition is organized by the Royal Agriculture Society of Victoria, Austrialia
OPA is the newest year round beer offered by Choc Beer Co.
“We spent a lot of time and effort working on this beer. It had to be just right, it had to show off the hops that are the driving force of this beer. This award is a testament to the work our entire crew put into this beer,” said Zach Prichard of Choc Beer Company.
More than 230 brewers in 35 countries with a total of 658 medals were awarded overall, including 57 gold, 190 silver and 411 bronze medals.
Congratulations to Choc! It really is a fine beer well deserving of the award.
