That was a slightly angry-sounding post title, kids, sorry. Anyway, so Hanes JUST launched its virtual Sock Drive benefiting The Salvation Army -- thus providing you a chance to buff your karma a smidgen, as Santa Claus is allegedly watching you.
Beginning today, for every Hanes Facebook fan who clicks "Help Hanes Donate," Hanes will donate an actual pair of socks towards its goal of 500,000 pairs (that's 1 million individual socks, for the math-deficient).
Hanes held its first virtual sock drive last year after learning that socks are the No. 1 most requested items in homeless shelters. This year, Hanes has increased its goal from 100,000 pairs of socks to 500,000.
The Sock Drive application is now live at http://www.facebook.com/hanes, so spread the word!
Peace, love and Hanes ... XOXO
