Former Tulsa barkeep and seventh-season "American Idol" winner David Cook has sold his Hollywood Hills home.

The property went for nearly $1.4 million, reports the Los Angeles Times. It boasts views of the famous Hollywood sign, as well as the Griffith Observatory.

The musician gave up the Beachwood Canyon home, built in 1979, to relocate to Tennessee.

The home is 3,000 feet with three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, skylights, wrap-around decks, a recording studio and "Smart Home" technology, reports TMZ online.

The 30-year-old owned the trilevel home for more than two years before selling it for nearly what he paid for it, reports Radar Online.
