As my recent feature on the new Dilly Deli downtown mentioned, most of the sandwiches and such are named after the owner's and manager's friends and family. One apparently already requires a new moniker.
According to a Dilly Deli e-mail, the Richard sandwich needs a new name, due to the fact that proprietary manager Dru has parted ways with former boyfriend Richard.
The Richard is a club sandwich with grilled chicken, white cheddar, Swiss, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion served on organic wheat bread.
E-mail your suggestions to dru@mcnellies.com. The winner, according to the e-mail, will receive "a $25 gift certificate to Dilly Deli or a date with Dru. Have fun."
