There's only one reason I would be on two morning shows this Friday: The Academy Awards are Sunday night.

It's amusing and odd when someone recognizes me in public after my Six in the Morning appearances on Fridays (like one fellow at a restaurant last month: "Hey, did you get that Rich Lenz straightened out?").

Now there will be double the opportunity for moviegoers to tell me "You blew it!" when my Oscar picks blow up in my face following Sunday night's honors.

I'll be on at the usual time, 6:40 a.m. on Friday, to talk with Leanne Taylor or Rich on KOTV, channel 6, and make several predictions.

A couple of hours later, sometime after 9 a.m., I'll appear on Good Morning Tulsa on KTUL, channel 8, with Kristin Dickerson moderating a panel that will include Clark Wiens of Circle Cinema and Kathryn Jenson-White, driving over from Norman to further represent our Oklahoma Film Critics Circle group.

The most important detail: The Academy Awards are 7 p.m. Sunday on channel 8.
