Legendary power pop rocker and Tulsa Sound icon Dwight Twilley will appear on this weekend’s broadcast of the NPR-nationally-syndicated Mountain Stage radio program.

The show was recorded before a live audience on Oct. 24 and features classic Twilley songs “I’m on Fire” and “Girls,” as well as his take on “Slow Down” (originally recorded by New Orleans rocker Larry Williams, but perhaps best-known for its cover by the Beatles), plus “Get Up,” the first single off his new CD, "Green Blimp," released Oct. 5 on Tulsa-based Big Oak Records.

Air-times vary by station. A complete list of which can be found at: mountainstage.org.

The following week, Twilley’s set will be posted at NPR.org/mountainstage and
archived for continued access. You can also connect to the show at facebook.com/mountainstage and youtube.com/mtnstage.
